Psychology 4595F/G – Current Issues in Personality Research

Critical evaluation of contemporary research in personality. Issues to be examined could include the person-situation debate, the idiographic vs. nomothetic study of personality, moderators of behavior predictability, new methods of personality assessment, evolutionary, sociobiological, genetic, and environmental influences on individual and group differences. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Psychology 2820E, or both of Psychology 2800E and 2810, plus registration in third or fourth year Honors Specialization in Psychology or Honors Specialization in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience. Other Psychology students and Special Students who receive 75% in the prerequisite courses may enroll in this course.
