Psychology 2320A/B – Abnormal Child Psychology

This is a theory course designed to introduce the wide-ranging theories of developmental psychopathology in children and adolescents. Topics will include the major DSM-IV diagnostic categories for childhood disorders, as well as research and treatment. The course orientation is empirical, with an emphasis on recent research findings with this population. Antirequisite(s): Psychology 2042A/B, 2043A/B, 3320F/G.
