This course focuses on learners’ growth as ethical leaders, change agents and professionals. Factors influencing nurses’ ability to affect change, such as nursing’s image, organizational culture, gender, race, and class will be explored. Leadership and change theories as a basis for effecting social, political, personal, and professional change will be examined. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Registration in the Western-Fanshawe Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing program or the BScN Program for Registered Nurses.
