Nursing 4442W – Professional Practice IV: Child Health and Family Nursing

Knowledge and skills in health promoting nursing practice with children and families are developed. Family health promotion is addressed across the lifespan (i.e., expectant families, children, elderly). Learning experiences occur in institutions, home settings, community agencies, and simulated clinical experiences in the laboratory environment. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Registration in the Compressed Time Frame BScN Program.
