Knowledge and skills in health promoting nursing practice with children and families are developed. Family health promotion is addressed across the lifespan (i.e., expectant families, children, elderly). Learning experiences occur in institutions, home settings, community agencies, and simulated clinical experiences in the laboratory environment.
