The First Nations differ considerably in their expressive cultures and formal rituals. This course will examine symbol systems across Canada, seeking both similarities and contrasts. It will also seek out values that underlie these systems and explore their contemporary persistence. Antirequisite(s): First Nations Studies 3140F/G.
