Visual Arts Studio 3353A/B – Illumination: Lighting in Visual Art Production

A Studio/Theory course that focuses upon the technical and creative potential of lighting in contemporary visual art production. Areas of exploration may include lighting design, studio techniques, as well the creation of illuminated environments and mixed media installations. This course will also examine the historical origins of electrification and illumination. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): VAS 2240, 2244A/B, 2250, 2252A/B or 2254A/B or permission of the Department. Priority will be given to students registered in the Visual Arts program.
