Visual Arts Studio 2240 – Photography

An introduction to lens-based photographic practices, including an overview of the camera, image processing and print production. The course also explores new directions in computer technology, emphasizing photographic imaging relative to other media forms as well as examining the historical developments and theoretical debates that have shaped the discipline. Antirequisite(s): VAS 2232A/B, 2234A/B, 2244A/B. Prerequisite(s): VAS 1020 or VAS 1025. Priority will be given to students registered in a Visual Arts program.
