Visual Arts History 2285 – Introduction to Gallery Practices

This course examines the changing histories and roles of the museum and art gallery through practical skills development and critical engagement with ideas and materials. Direct hands-on experience and seminar discussions will allow students to gain insight into the many “representational” practices that produce meaning within the museum and gallery.
