An introduction to visual arts through artistic literature. Descriptions of important works of art, monuments and cities, biographies of artists, texts written by and/or for the artists will be considered. Examples from diaries, reflections, manuals, and criticism may be included. Cases will come from pre-Columbian civilizations up to contemporary expressions.
