Sociology 3357F/G – Crime and Deviance in the Workplace

This course will survey the empirical research and theoretical issues surrounding occupational and organizational crime and deviance in private and public organizations. What constitutes crime at work is a contested category and attention will be focused on the role power plays in the definition and prosecution of crime. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Sociology 1020 or 1021E as well as third or fourth year standing in a module in Sociology or BMOS.
