Sociology 3316F/G – Demographic Change and Human Resources

The components of demographic change (fertility, mortality, migration) and their impact on the Canadian labor force. The focus is on education, work and retirement in the life course, along with associated social policy with respect to education, training, employment, equity, social security and pensions. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Sociology 1020 or 1021E and third or fourth year standing in a module in Sociology, BMOS, or Urban Development.
