Political Science 4201F/G – The UN and Global Governance

The seminar examines current issues before the United Nations and assesses the organization’s contributions to the resolution of diverse global problems. It assesses the UN’s objectives, structure and decision-making procedures and evaluates current UN policies and activities on a range of contemporary issues. Current proposals for reform are assessed. Antirequisite(s): The former Political Science 3345E, 417F if taken in 2006-07, 415E if taken in 2004-05, 2005-06, 2007-2008.
