This course focuses on the development of effective and caring interpersonal communication skills. Awareness of self as an individual and in a relationship is explored through critical review of the literature, theories and experiences, critical reflection and thoughtful, confident dialogue. Learners will explore contextual and cultural realities, cultural sensitivity and cultural competence inhealthcare.
