This course emphasizes the development and manipulation of sound sources, especially music, within a mixed media context. Students will be introduced to music-specific technologies and concepts that can be applied to a multimedia environment. Previous music experience is not required, however students will acquire some musical skills and study certain musical concepts. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): At least 65% in each of MIT 1200F/G, 1500F/G and 1700F/G.
