Linguistics 2187A/B – Introduction to Language Science

This survey is for anyone interested in why we speak the way we do. Taught in English, the course examines different aspects of language usage (including language and media, language and computers, language and gender, language education and dialects) while emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of language studies.
