Kinesiology 3377F/G – The Canadian Sport System

The central purpose of this course is to examine current issues in the sport, physical activity and recreation systems in Canada. An overview of Canada’s sport system will be presented, including, governments and sport (federal, provincial and municipal), sport and education, national sports organizations and commercial/professional sport and recreation. Antirequisite(s): The former Kinesiology 471b, if taken in 2003-04, 2004 05, or 2005 06. Prerequisite(s): Kinesiology 2250A/B or 2263F/G.
