Kinesiology 3347A/B – A Survey of Physical Growth and Motor Development

An examination of the principles and processes of human physical growth and motor development from birth to maturity. Attention will focus on physical-structural growth, age and sex-associated variation in growth and performance, biologic maturation, and the relationship of these to motor-development/performance during infancy, childhood and adolescence. Antirequisite(s): Health Sciences 2700A/B, the former Health Sciences 3700A/B. Prerequisite(s): Completion of second year Kinesiology or permission of Kinesiology.
