Kinesiology 2925Q/R/S/T – Snowboarding

An introduction to snowboarding as a physical recreation activity. Course content will include physical and psychosocial factors affecting the lifelong enjoyment of snowboarding, consideration of safety and etiquette, equipment selection, and the development and understanding of selected skills. Antirequisite(s): The former Kinesiology 2212Q/R/S/T, if taken prior to 2010-11. The former Kinesiology 2025Q/R/S/T. Prerequisite(s): Completion of the first year Kinesiology program and registration in the School of Kinesiology. The course is designed to accommodate a diversity of skill levels. Corequisite(s): Pre-or Corequisite(s): Extra Information: 30 lab/lecture hours, 0.25 course.
