Kinesiology 2912Q/R/S/T – Alpine Skiing

An introduction to alpine skiing as a physical recreation activity. Course content will include physical and psychosocial factors affecting the lifelong enjoyment of skiing, consideration of safety and etiquette, equipment selection, and the development and understanding of selected skills. Antirequisite(s): The former Kinesiology 2212Q/R/S/T. Prerequisite(s): Completion of the first year Kinesiology program and registration in Kinesiology. The course is designed to accommodate a diversity of skill levels. Corequisite(s): Pre-or Corequisite(s): Extra Information: 30 lecture/laboratory hours, 0.25 course.
