Film Studies 2251E – World Cinema

This course provides an introduction to important topics of global film history with a focus on film cultures in Africa; Latin America; Asia; the Middle East, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Students will examine the social, economic, and cultural contexts and broader patterns of influence in the global cultural economy. Antirequisite(s): The former Film Studies 151E.
