Dance 2375A/B – Ballet Fundamentals

Development of classical ballet techniques through in-depth study of body line, posture and weight placement, coordinated use of arms and eyeline, and the relationship between musicality and dynamics. Sessions will be comprised of rigorous ballet classes where the foundations of techniques and movement combinations are discussed as part of the class. Antirequisite(s): The former Dance 472b 2006-2008, or Dance 4472B 2009. Prerequisite(s): Dance 2275A/B or permission of Music.
