This course has several purposes: (i) to understand what knowledge management is and how it can contribute towards organizational performance; (ii) to overview various types of IT solutions to knowledge management problems and opportunities; and (iii) to explore the challenges associated with deploying these solutions, and identify strategies and tactics for addressing these challenges.
