Anthropology 3342A/B – Bioarchaeological Genetics

Determining genetic relationships between and within past populations is at the genesis of bioanthropology. This course provides an overview of the history and current status of bioarchaeological genetics. It details basic transmission, molecular and population genetics and integrates morphogenetic and molecular approaches used in determining intra and between sample relationships. Antirequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Anthropology 2226A/B, or one of Microbiology and Immunology 2100A or 2500B or Biology 2581B.
