An introduction to mountain biking as a physical recreation activity. Course content will include physical and psychosocial factors affecting the lifelong enjoyment of mountain biking, consideration of safety and etiquette, development and understanding of selected skills including: bike repair, bike handling and thermoregulation management. Antirequisite(s): The former Kinesiology 223q if taken in 2005-06. The former Kinesiology 2220Q/R/S/T. Prerequisite(s): Completion of the first year Kinesiology program and registration in Kinesiology. The course is designed to accommodate a diversity of skill levels. Corequisite(s): Pre-or Corequisite(s): Extra Information: 30 lab/lecture hours, 0.25 course.
